یک چاه کن به همراه شاگردش مسئول پیدا کردن چاه اب در سی کیلومتری استانبول می شود. همان طور که ان ها به کندن چاه و جست و جو برای یافتن اب در زیر افتاب داغ تابستان می پردازند، رابطه نزدیکی و تا حدی رابطه پدر و فرزندی بین انان شکل می گیرد. آن دو به تعریف داستان های متفاوت و نگرش های خود از جهان پیرامون می پردازند ئ از علایق و رویاهای خود سخن می گویند.
